COVID-19 Special Notice
COVID-19 SPECIAL NOTICE
Our focus and commitment at Stuart Cardiology Group, PA is to provide the best quality care to our patients. With that in mind, we are closely monitoring the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
COVID-19 is an evolving issue with new guidelines and information daily. We encourage you to keep yourself updated on information about coronavirus by following the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Florida Department of Health websites.
Steps we are taking:
Our office is using CDC guidelines to screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance to our office.
Our patients are instructed not to come into the office if they are sick or have a fever.
If you have allergy symptoms (sneezing, coughing, sore throat etc.) you will be required to wear a mask during your visit.
In order to follow social distancing guidelines, we are limiting our patients to one visitor that may accompany them into our office area unless there is documented clinical reasons.
SCG is working closely with Cleveland Clinic to keep our patients out of the hospitals. Our physicians are strongly encouraging their patients to keep scheduled appointments.
Staff members are continually updated on COVID-19 and receiving education on proper hand hygiene and other safety measures to decrease the likelihood of contracting or transmitting the infection.
We are sanitizing all areas considered “high touch” after each patient as well as all work areas a minimum of twice daily.
Each exam room is sanitized following each patient visit.
At this time all offices remain open, however, any changes to office hours will be communicated.
Protect yourself and your community:
Practice social distancing while in public. The recommendation is to remain at least six feet away from others.
Avoid large group gatherings.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand-sanitizer that contains 60% alcohol.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces
Avoid close contact with sick individuals
We thank you in advance for your shared commitment of protecting yourself, our staff and the community.
Sincerely,
Stuart Cardiology Group Providers and Staff
